In process detection of spacers at ATA Timber

Problem: Between all layers of boards some spacers should fall away. If the spacers get stuck, it becomes a pile that needs to be cleared away. Hence, there must always be an employee who shakes the machine manually. If the employee is not on-site or if the spacers get stuck, it is not possible to continue the flow.

Solution: Gimic has set up a camera that is connected to the machine. We have trained the software to detect the spacers and send a signal to the machine to shake it off.

Advantage: ATA Timber gets an automated process that is more stable and increases efficiency.
