CGV integrates Gimic's AI technology for next-generation quality control in the sawmill industry

Gimic initiates a strategic partnership with C. Gunnarssons Verkstads AB, CGV, an established supplier of complete production facilities to the sawmill industry. CGV becomes a reseller of Gimic's solutions and will integrate the company's AI technology for quality control into its own offering.

The collaboration means that Gimic's technology can be offered as an integrated part of the production facilities CGV delivers to its customers. CGV brings its expertise in sawmill production, automation, and system integration, while Gimic provides the AI-based technology, models, and software for quality control.
For Gimic, the partnership means increased reach through a partner with established customer relationships and deep industry expertise. At the same time, it demonstrates how the company's technology can be scaled by being integrated into the solutions and offerings of other industrial players.

CGV has over 70 years of experience in the sawmill industry and develops production solutions for customers in Sweden and internationally. Through the partnership, the company adds advanced AI-based quality control to its existing offering.
